Eastern Air Executive was first established in 1969 at the former RAF/USAAF Sturgate airbase, situated in the North Lincolnshire countryside between Gainsborough and Lincoln. Close to the RAF Scampton MATZ (R313), there are frequent training displays in the area by the Red Arrows team.
Now firmly established as a quality engineering facility in the East Midlands there is a regular customer base who visit Sturgate from all over the UK.
Eastern Air’s Maintenance engineering unit has an experienced team of engineers, Storeman, and quality manager/technical records officer who is also a qualified aircraft engineer.
E.A.E. also offers a variety of GA facilities, including Aircraft paint re-sprays and interior refurbishment, Aircraft leasing, Professional pilot hire and Ferry flights, an Examiner for pilot IR renewals, aircraft charter, and aircraft parking.
The airfield has two hard runways with good approaches, easy access to parking, and few restrictions on operating hours. Avgas (100LL) is available at competitive rates.
Eastern Air Executive is open Monday to Friday 0800-1630 (1600 Fridays), and the airfield is operated by Lincoln Aero Club at the weekends, allowing Avgas to be available at Sturgate 7 days a week during office hours.
