Eastern Air Executive is a ‘one stop’ location, a General Aviation facility offering a wealth of experience from an established team of engineers.

Headed by Managing Director, John Duke, a commercial pilot with many years and GA type experience, Eastern Air Executive is well versed in a whole range of aircraft, maintenance and airfield operations.

Based in the East Midlands at Sturgate airfield, between Lincoln and Gainsborough, Eastern Air Executive is ideally located for access by air or on land, and close to railway stations.

The engineering facility is managed by Dave Smith. A well known aircraft engineer, apprentice trained with over 30 years in aircraft maintenance, Dave has always specialised in the General Aviation industry and has written articles on Piper, Cessna and other types of aircraft. With a wide range of engineering qualifications Dave can also work on FAA registered aircraft and holds a CAA welders approval.

The engineering team at Eastern Air Executive has ex RAF and airline trained engineers  who can repair and maintain a wide range of general aviation aircraft types from light single to twin pressurized piston engine aircraft. The combined knowledge of this team ia also there to advise and train a new generation of engineers.

As pilots ourselves we understand your needs – our Managing Director,  Chief Engineer, Deputy Chief Engineer, Quality Manager and Technical Records assistant all hold pilots licences and between them have many hours of flying experience.

The Eastern Air Executive paint shop is well known for its top quality custom re-sprays and refurbishment of single and twin engine light aircraft. Managed by Dave W and Simon, their joint experience of over 30 years is reflected in the high quality of workmanship that has delighted many aircraft owners. The paint shop provides a complete service that commences with a back to bare metal preparation.
